Wow, so much has happened since my last post! I don't even know where to begin!
The snow melted, taking away the beautiful winter wonderland that I'd grown so accustomed to (and the welly wearing weather!) Christmas flew by too! Christmas was quite wonderful, I love christmas time mostly because it bring the whole family together to indulge in the festive spirits... oh and there's also the case of getting some lovely presents too!
So after Christmas was over and everyone was in the process of gorging themselves on left over chocolates, I found myself in a weird situation. I don't even know how to describe it. Well, if you've read my blog for a long time you'll know the story of 'Lover Boy'. Well he seemed interested all the way up to Christmas and to be honest I was warming to him, that's the honest truth. But then I start to get the feeling something wasn't right, he seemed quite interested with my friend, he kept mentioning her. In the end I was just like, so do you like her? I mean, she was single and everything so it was fine, I suppose. But I honestly didn't think he'd replied "Yeah, I like her."
His answer made me feel... strange. My heart started to beat faster, I felt sort of angry, sort of upset but all the while scolding myself because what right did I have to feel like that? I had no right at all. None. And it's bothering me even now... not as much but I have this nagging feeling in the pit of my stomach and it won't go away. Feel free to tell me how stupid I'm being. I all ready know.
So I've just focused on line learning, watching Audrey in Sabrina and Grace Kelly in High society to take my mind off everything... ah winter movies <3
I hope you've all had a happy new year! And a good Christmas! And next time I shall inform you that I may have completed one of my more shallow goals in life... can someone say Serena Van Der Woodsen Hair?
Please comment :)

Because I want Serena Van Der Woodsen's hair.
There are many things I wish for in this life; an unlimited book budget, a danish pastry with just the right amount of icing and for snow every christmas. But if there's one thing I truly do long for it is the hair of Gossip Girl's Serena Van Der Woodsen . I've always been a fan of the character both in the fabulous books and the TV series but I'm a super fan of long, wavy, blonde and at times completely unkempt hair. Now, it seems a very easy thing to achieve... yeah right. I've had several failed attempts at this style and I'm beginning to think it may just be Blake Lively who can actually pull it off. So I'm making one last resort..... Dear Santa, I've been a very good girl this year, so maybe on christmas morning I could wake up with blonder hair in Van Der Woodsen Style? Yes?
Hmm, maybe a bit too much to ask but it was worth a try! Are you a gossip girl fan? Books or TV... who's your favourite character?
Very shallow post today, I promise something of more substance later.
